NPC Ministerial positions to be reshuffled

The ministerial positions of the Northern Provincial Council are to be distributed amongst the EPRLF, PLOTE and TELO political parties. 

Following the resignation of the Northern Provincial Health Minister K.P.Sathyalingam from his post, his political party the ITAK has decided not to reclaim his seat in the provincial council. These decisions were arrived at following discussions with leader of the opposition R.Sampanthan and Mr.Mavai Senathirajah. 
  
According to sources in the Northern Provincial Council, the posts of ministers in the Northern Province will be changed.
