Concrete slab collapses at construction site in Negombo

Several individuals have reportedly been injured after the concrete slab of a building under construction collapsed in the Periyamulla area in Negombo, a short while ago. 

Police spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said that so far two persons have been rescued and admitted to the Negombo Hospital. 

One more person is still believed to be trapped under the rubble while rescue operations are currently underway.
