UNP backbenchers gather for discussion with President

United National Party (UNP) Parliamentarian Kavinda Jayawardana stated that the UNP backbenchers met with President Maithripala Sirisena for a discussion.
He stated that the meeting had taken place last night (23) at the Presidential Secretariat Office.
A great many backbench parliamentarians representing the UNP had participated in the discussion which addressed in great detail the present political status quo of the country, according to the UNP Parliamentarian.
