Linkin Park have delivered on the promise to hold a public celebration to honor their late vocalist Chester Bennington and it will take place Friday, Oct. 27 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The show will be the band’s first performance together since Bennington’s death on July 20 and a number of still-to-be-named artists will join the group for the show, which will be a celebration of the band’s music and the role that Bennington had in creating it and touching the lives of so many around the world. Each of the band members will contribute their fees from the event to Music for Relief’s One More Light fund in the memory of Chester.

Pre-sale tickets for the show will start Tuesday, Sept. 19, with the general public on-sale set for this Friday (Sept. 22).

In other Linkin Park news, the band has released a brand new video for their song “One More Light.” The clip was directed by the band’s Joe Hahn along with their longtime videographer Mark Fiore and it serves as a touching and beautiful tribute to Bennington.

“It has been incredibly emotional to work on this, and especially to watch it,” says Hahn. “I feel that by doing it, we not only faced some of our biggest fears, but it enabled us to use our talents to bring some light to people who need it. As we move forward to the Hollywood Bowl show and beyond, I think about the people who connect with the band, outside and inside our circle. This video is a gesture of good will to the people who want that connection.”

“One More Light was written with the intention of sending love to those who lost someone. We now find ourselves on the receiving end,” adds Mike Shinoda. “In memorial events, art, videos, and images, fans all over the world have gravitated towards this song as their declaration of love and support for the band and the memory of our dear friend, Chester. We are so very grateful and can’t wait to see you again.”
