SLFP cannot endorse new constitution – Isura Devapriya

Chief Minister of the Western Province Isura Devapriya stated that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party cannot endorse the proposed new constitution based on the position given to Buddhism and the Unitary state.

He stated that the SLFP will not allow the constitution to be morphed to suit the whims and fancies of private organizations. 

Chief Minister Devapriya also condemned the position given to Buddhism and the clergy within the country.
