SLMC to convene on November 17 to discuss verdict on SAITM

A meeting of the Sri Lanka Medical Council and the committee appointed to mandate the minimum standard of medical education within Sri Lanka will convene on November 17. 

SLMC Registrar Dr. Terrence Gamini de Silva stated that the SLMC will convene to discuss the report documented regarding the SAITM campus and the minimum standard of medical education.   

He further stated that the Minister of Health has been informed of the special meeting of the SLMC.
