Suspect nabbed with heroin worth Rs 730,000

A suspect has been arrested for the possession of a stock of heroin worth over Rs 700,000 in the Udugampola area in Veyangoda.
The suspect was arrested following a raid carried out based on information received by officers of the Police Special Task Force (STF) Headquarters.
Around 73 grams and 450 milligrams of heroin worth Rs 730,000 were found in the possession of the suspect, who has been handed over to Veyangoda Police Station for onward action.
