A ‘no-confidence’ motion will be brought against Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government Faiszer Musthapha within the next two or three days, warns the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP).

Addressing a media briefing held in Colombo today (23), JVP Propaganda Secretary Vijitha Herath said that the no-confidence motion will be submitted to Speaker Karu Jayasuriya, in the near future.

The JVP also invited other parties to align with them to pass the no–confidence motion.

This no-confidence motion is being tabled against Minister Faizer Mustapha over postponing the local government polls, he said.
