Two roads closed due to separate protests

Lotus Road and Bank of Ceylon Mawatha in Colombo have temporarily been closed for traffic due to two separate protests, Ada Derana reporter said. 

Severe traffic congestion have been reported in those areas due to the road closures and the protests while motorists are advised to use alternate routes. 

Lotus Road has been closed due to a protest by employees of the Survey Department while Bank of Ceylon employees are also protesting.
