One killed following construction site calamity in Kandy

Reports confirm that an earth bund at a construction site in Peradeniya collapsed a short while ago killing one person working within the vicinity.
A joint effort of workers and law enforcement officials led to the rescue of two people trapped within the construction site.
Ada Derana correspondents report that local authorities have been deployed to rescue any remaining survivors trapped under the debris.
