IMF delegation visits Sri Lanka’s Parliament…

April 2, 2026  

 

 

A delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), including Deputy Division Chief Evan Papageorgiou and senior economists, met with the Speaker, and Deputy Speaker today (02) at the Parliament Complex, ahead of the IMF Fifth and Sixth Review Mission scheduled from March 26 to April 8, 2026. The delegation also held discussions with Party Leaders at a meeting chaired by Deputy Speaker Dr. Rizvie Salih. The IMF delegation also participated in a guided parliamentary tour.
