Protesters block Tissamaharama-Kataragama road

The Tissamaharama-Kataragama main road has been blocked by protestors at Bogahapelessa demanding drinking water, Ada Derana Reporter said.
Residents of around 5 villages had participated in the protest movement which had caused a block along the road for over 2 hours.
The Tissamaharama Divisional Secretary had later agreed to meet representatives of the protesters for a discussion on the drinking water issue.
