Five injured in multi-vehicle collision caused by bull

Five individuals have been injured after a lorry hit a bull and two more vehicles at Karadipokku Junction in Kilinochchi.

The lorry, travelling from Murukandy to Kilinochchi, had crashed into a bull that had suddenly jumped on to the road.

It then had multiple crashes with a small bus and a motorcycle that were traveling on the opposite direction, according to Kilinochchi police.

Five persons, who were travelling in the lorry and on the motorcycle, have been admitted to Kilinochchi hospital following the accident.

 The bull that had come into contact with the lorry had died on the spot.

Kilinochchi Police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
