Delimitation Review Committee set to meet tomorrow

The five-member Delimitation Review Committee, appointed to review the Report on Delimitation of Electorates in Provincial Councils, is scheduled to assemble tomorrow (20).

The Delimitation Review Committee, headed by the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, will assemble at the Parliament with the participation of political party leaders.

According to a spokesperson of the committee, the opinions of the political party leaders regarding the Report on Delimitation of Electorates in Provincial Councils will be taken into consideration.

It was reported that submitting the recommendations of Delimitation Review Committee to the Parliament forthwith had been discussed during the recent meeting of the Delimitation Review Committee held on September 07.
