Person shot dead by masked motorcyclists in Tangalle

A person has been reported dead in a shooting incident near a vehicle service center in Wadigala on Tangalle-Kataragama road, stated the Police Media Spokesperson.
Two persons, covering their faces, had arrived on a motor bicycle and shot at the victim, before fleeing.
The 42 year old victim had succumbed to injuries upon admittance to hospital and is revealed to be the owner of the said service station.
The incident had occurred at around 11.15 am this morning (23).
Tangalle Police have commenced investigations to apprehend the suspects.
