Matara-Kataragama highway blocked due to protest

Matara-Kataragama highway in Dondra area has been blocked due to a protest of fishermen.

Fishermen had commenced this protest at around 3.30pm today (25), against the increase of fuel prices.

However, it is reported that the protest has hampered the traffic flow in the area.
