Heroin distribution ring nabbed in Anamaduwa

Anamaduwa Police has managed to raid a heroin racketeering ring that had been operating in the Anamaduwa town.
Reportedly, the heroin racket was being maintained at a large scale business place in Anamaduwa town.
Three suspects, who had been packaging heroin into packets, have been taken into police custody during the raid.
Accordingly, the police have seized 01 g and 830 mg of heroin in possession of the suspects at the time of arrest.
Police investigations have uncovered that the suspects had packaged the heroin brought from outlying areas and distributed them in Anamaduwa town.
The suspects are to be produced before Anamaduwa Magistrate’s Court and Anamaduwa police is conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
