The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka (HRCSL) says it is currently in the process of compiling the reports on the violent clashes that broke out in Digana, Kandy.

The commission had carried out investigations from May 09 to 12 regarding the incidents. Inquiries were carried out by the Chairperson and commissioners of the HRCSL while witness statements were also recorded from the public.

The Human Rights Commission of Sri Lanka says that steps will be taken to make the report public once completed.
