Sajith leads Trincomalee polling division

NDF Presidential candidate has secured a victory with the Trincomalee polling station in Trincomalee district.
Premadasa received 56,594 votes (78.02%) against SLPP candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa who managed to secure 12,818 votes (17.67%).
Anura Kumara Dissanayake received 713 votes (0.98%) while M. K. Shivajilingam garnered 325 votes (0.45%) from the area.
