All individuals and vehicles traveling on the roads and by-roads, except those with proper curfew permits, will be arrested without a warrant, stated the Police Headquarters.

All without authorized service IDs or curfew permits will be arrested and prosecuted under the Quarantine Regulations and the Criminal Law, according to the Police Media Spokesman.

Issuing a press release, the Police said that if the arrested persons are produced before courts, they will be liable to a jail sentence and a fine.

In addition, they will be referred to the Public Health Inspectors or Judicial Medical Officers for a report if necessary.

Meanwhile, vehicles taken into custody will be kept in police stations until the epidemic situation subsides, stated the Police.
