Navy coronavirus recoveries move to 415 cases

Four more naval personnel who had contracted the COVID-19 have recovered completely from the disease, says Sri Lanka Navy.
Out of these four, 03 persons were being treated in Homagama hospital and 01 person in IDH hospital.
Thereby, a total of 415 coronavirus-positive navy men have returned to health so far.
These discharged navy men will be kept under quarantine for another 14 days in compliance with the healthcare regulations.
The number of coronavirus cases reported in Sri Lanka currently stands at 1,643 following the detection of 10 fresh cases detected yesterday (01).
According to the Epidemiology Unit if the Health Ministry, 821 active cases of the coronavirus infection are currently under medical care at selected hospitals across the country.
Meanwhile, 811 COVID-19 patients have been discharged from the hospital upon complete recovery from the disease.
Sri Lanka witnessed its 11th death from the coronavirus on Monday (June 01) as a 45-year-old male who had returned from Kuwait succumbed to the disease at the Homagama Hospital.
