Ravi requests govt. to postpone A/L exam

Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake has appealed to the government to postpone the forthcoming Advanced Level Examination which was rescheduled to be held this September.

Conducting the exam without completing the syllabus is inopportune, he pointed out.

Karunanayake hence requests the government to postpone the exam to either November or December.

He made these remarks speaking to media ain Mattakkuliya area

In a media briefing held on June 09, Minister of Education Dullas Alahapperuma announced that the Advanced Level Examination and the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination have been put off to September this year due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Advanced Level Examination was originally scheduled to be held on August 05.
