Minuwangoda cluster: 57 more cases reported

Fifty-seven more cases of COVID-19 infections have been reported from the Minuwangoda cluster, stated Commander of Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva.

One of the new cases has been detected from the quarantine centers operated by the Sri Lanka Army.

The remaining 56 patients are identified as close contacts of the Minuwangoda cluster cases, according to the Army Chief.

A total of 166 new coronavirus cases have been reported from the Minuwangoda COVID-19 within the day so far.

Thereby, the cluster has grown to 2,508 cases.
