* Bridging the gap between the 3G and 2G space

Represented at the event by its senior management team the company co-exhibited with Dialogic, who invited WaveNET as one of its worldwide partners to work with them at the Mobile World Congress to demonstrate new, interactive mobile video services and solutions built with Dialogic® technology. Mr. Pinto went on to say that another momentous occasion for the company was the introduction of their Video Call Completion Solution, “One of the biggest challenges faced today by mobile operators launching 3G networks is the low rate of video call adoption. Thus, most operators concentrate on broadband revenues as opposed to video call revenues, as many 3G network callers, encounter difficulty in initiating calls to a 2G network  user due to the low volume of 3G subscribers, resulting in a loss of customer satisfaction and ultimately, revenue, for the mobile operator. We at WaveNET have now developed a solution that will bridge the gap between the 3G and 2G user by allowing an audio call completion.

Over 47,000 visitors from 189 countries attended this year’s GSMA Mobile World Congress at Barcelona. The four day conference and exhibition attracted executives from the world’s largest and most influential mobile operators, software companies, equipment providers, Internet companies and media and entertainment organizations including more than 2,800 CEOs, as well as government delegations.
