Dialogic is a leading provider of world-class, innovative technologies based on open standards that enable innovative mobile, video, IP, and TDM solutions for Network Service Providers and Enterprise Communication Networks.
Said Suren Pinto, CEO, WaveNET, “Participating in the Mobile World Congress for a 2nd successive year was a rewarding and enriching experience for us; we were honoured to co-exhibit with one of our most valued worldwide partners, Dialogic. We enjoy a wonderful relationship with the company, where they have provided us with excellent support over the years.”
Mr. Pinto went on to say that another momentous occasion for the company was the introduction of their Video Call Completion Solution, “One of the biggest challenges faced today by mobile operators launching 3G networks is the low rate of video call adoption. Thus, most operators concentrate on broadband revenues as opposed to video call revenues, as many 3G network callers, encounter difficulty in initiating calls to a 2G network user due to the low volume of 3G subscribers, resulting in a loss of customer satisfaction and ultimately, revenue, for the mobile operator. We at WaveNET have now developed a solution that will bridge the gap between the 3G and 2G user by allowing an audio call completion.
“Our Video Call Completion Solution will enable subscribers
from any network generation to utilize their mobile services with ease, and
offer mobile operators an additional source of revenue by enabling them to push
mob-ads to the 3G caller. The Video Call Completion solution was very well
accepted by the international mobile community when it was presented in
“We were thrilled to have Wavenet participate with us at Mobile World Congress and showcase their new Video Call Completion Solution,” said Jim Machi, senior vice president of marketing at Dialogic. Operators today are strengthening their market leadership by delivering the personalized services their subscribers demand. Wavenet’s Video Call Completion Solution is highly relevant in today’s network environment because it enables seamless connectivity between 3G and 2G mobile technologies. We are very pleased that Dialogic® Host Media Processing Software, CG Media Boards and TX Series SS7 Boards enabled Wavenet to build this solution, which will benefit both network operators and subscribers.”
