MBC Network office attacked by group

The Braybrooke Place office of MBC Network, owners of MTV/Sirasa TV was attacked a short while ago by a group who pelted stones at the complex.

 16 suspects have been taken in by the Police, sources say.

While windows of the building were damaged due to the projectiles thrown at it, several vehicles proceeding along the road and also parked in the vicinity were severely damaged. Police arrived and the crowd took its heels while several suspects were taken into custody.
