Alles questioned by CID over Lasantha

Tiran Alles told Ada Derana that he was questioned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) today over the death of Sunday Leader editor Lasantha Wickrematunga. Alles stated that the CID queried him over a phone conversation he had with Lasantha half an hour before he was assassinated.

Alles added that the CID wanted to know of any details relayed to him by Lasantha of the motorcyclists following him before he was shot dead in Rathmalana in January 2009.
