VIDEO: Fonseka to feign critical illness for sympathy votes - Wimal

NFF leader Wimal Weerawansa revealed what he claimed was a plot by the JVP to garner sympathy votes right before the General Election using Rtd. Gen. Sarath Fonseka as a pawn. Fonseka will fake a critical illness and will be rushed to a hospital to try and get sympathy votes, Weerawansa added.

The JVP is all full of General these days and even if the General sneezes the JVP holds press conferences for it, Weerawansa said.

He added that this is the bankrupt state of the present JVP. The JVP is trying its best to sell the General in order to get at least a handful of votes, he said at a propaganda rally held in Nugegoda.
