Patali Champika summoned to CID

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Patali Champika Ranawaka has been summoned by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to record a statement.

Accordingly, he arrived at the CID premises this morning (Sep. 24).

Reportedly, the investigating officers are interrogating him over the alleged misappropriation of state funds by the Ministry of Megapolis and Western Province Development during his ministerial tenure under the previous administration.
