VIDEO: Master Blaster Sanath votes in advance

Matara district United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) candidate and cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya has cast his vote under special permission for Thursday’s general elections at the Matara Assistant Elections Commissioner’s office, reports our correspondent.

 

Special permission had been granted under Clause 20(c) of the Parliamentary Elections Act and it can be considered a postal vote, Elections department sources told Adaderana when inquired about the modalities.
