Kilinochchi IDPs lose vote - CMEV

IDPs who
were previously house at the Chettikulam welfare village and afterwards
resettled in Kilinochchi have lost their vote, the CMEV told Ada Derana. CMEV National
Coordinator D.M. Dissanayaka said that the IDPs had been brought to the Chettikulam
camp only to be told by the officials that they had no vote.
The Center
for Monitoring Election Violence said further that there were long lines
witnessed at the Chettikulam polling center.
