Lokubandara appointed Sabaragamuwa Province Governor

Speaker of the former Parliament of Sri Lanka, W.J.M. Lokubandara has been sworn in as Governor of the Sabaragamuwa Provincea short while ago before President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

 

 

A senior United National Party (UNP) member Mr. Lokubandara supported President Mahinda Rajapaksa during his bid for Presidency in January this year.

 

 

Mr. Lokubandara’s son is an elected member of the United People’s Freedom Alliance (UPFA) at the recent general elections.
