VIDEO: Chamal sworn is as Speaker

President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s brother Chamal Rajapaksa sworn in as the Speaker of the 7th parliament a short while ago. Priyankara Jayaratna sworn in as Deputy Speaker.
Prime Minister
D.M. Jayaratne proposed the name of Chamal Rajapaksa for the post of Speaker and
it was seconded by UNP Deputy Leader Karu Jayasuriya.
