Gas price revision postponed to May 5

The gas price revision scheduled to be made today has been postponed to May 5 on a request by the Consumer Affairs Authoriy, sources told Ada Derana. Under the present system the gas prices are reviewed every two months.
Currently the price of a 12.5 kg Shell gas cylinder is Rs. 1,550 while
Laugfs cylinder is sold for Rs. 1,481.
