PC Pharma Pvt Ltd, having gone a long way toward identifying and resolving health issues faced by the Sri Lankan Community for years, recently launched a new product portfolio targeting the neuropsychiatry market in Sri Lanka.

The launch was deemed to address some unmet needs in the market with globally recognized superior quality molecules while reinforcing the partnership between PC Pharma and the manufacturer-Square pharmaceuticals, Bangladesh which is the number one Pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh and honored by standardizing bodies such as ISO, EMEA, MHRA – UK and the FDA of USA.

PC Pharma with a clear goal of bettering the community at large has become one of the most responsible players in the industry due to its various CSR activities such as donations and sponsorships addressing training and education needs in the health sector of Sri Lanka.

Speaking on the expansion of the partnership and the benefits to the local consumer, Dilshard Ikram, General Manager of PC Pharma (Pvt.) Ltd, emphasized the added benefits of the new range. “Although Neuropsychiatry treatments have been available in Sri Lanka for some years, the quality and diversity of the available ranges was very limited. The Square Pharmaceutical production plant that we are now importing from through this partnership is one of the USFDA and UKMHRA approved facilities in the region, meaning that the plant is certified with the highest quality to export to the European market. Our aim has always been to provide innovative and diverse solutions at an affordable cost for the betterment of the local medical field. We believe that through this partnership and this range we are closer to this aim”.

The importance of Neuropsychiatry is not an area that is overly addressed in Sri Lanka, therefore, to ensure the proper addressing of the market, PC Pharma has dedicated a specially formed team to address the needs of providing this treatment throughout the island by means of maintaining standards of treatment.
