UDA comes under professionals

The Urban Development Authority (UDA) has been entrusted to a board comprising some professionals in diverse fields, Adaderana reliably learns. Janaka Kurukulasuriya has been appointed UDA Chairman, according to these sources and the appointments are to be formerly announced soon.

The other Directors who have been appointed to the UDA are: Dr. Priyath B. Wickrema (Chairman, Ports Authority), Rohan Fernando, Jayantha Wickremasinghe (of Lanka Logistics Ltd.) and Managing Director of Sri Lanka Insurance, Dr. Nalaka Godahewa.
