Power cut in Colombo, Kelaniya if rain continues

If the prevailing heavy rainfall continues, power supply may have to be curtailed in the Kelaniya and Colombo North areas, warns the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB). This is due to the electricity sub stations in these areas being submerged by the rising waters, adds the CEB.
