Chandran Rutnam cleared of all charges

Veteran film director and producer Chandran Rutnam has been released by Courts a short while ago after he was cleared of all charges against him. He was taken into custody on alleged possession of explosives at his former residence in Nugegoda

Although Rutnam was unable to provide the necessary Defence Ministry clearance for the possession of the explosives at the time of the raid. However after he produced the license in court today he was released.
