GMCL Joins hands with Scienter Technologies

The leading private sector Micro Finance provider in Sri Lanka, Grameen Micro Credit Co, Ltd (GMCL) has entered in to an MOU with Scienter Technologies (Pte) Ltd., a leading ISO 9001 certified Software Development Company, to upgrade their existing IT infrastructure. Scienter Technologies is an award winner at the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) Australia 2009 and was also bestowed the prestigious NBQSA GOLD Award for the best software in Sri Lanka.

Through the upgraded system the island wide branch network of GMCL will be linked with the head office that will enable GMCL to provide an efficient and effective service to their customers and borrowers. Customers of GMCL will have the additional benefit of carrying out their day to day transactions from any branch.
