Tuition classes in WP to face ban?

The Western Provincial Council (WPC) is to bring in legislature to ban private tuition classes on Sundays and the relevant proposals will be forwarded to the Council soon, says WPC member Jagath Kumara.

 

 

Councillor Jagath Kumara points out that the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council has already banned private tuition classes being held on Sunday mornings and on Poya days. He says that a similar move will be implemented in the Western Provinceas well.
