Moratuwa University to reopen next Monday

The Engineering Faculty and the Institute of National Diploma in Technology which were closed following a clash among the students will reopen next Monday (June 14) said the Engineering Faculty’s Professor U.G.A. Puswewala.

 

The University was closed indefinitely following a clash between students in the Engineering Faculty and the NDT section on the night of May 30. The clash had broken out during a Vesak lantern exhibition organized by the University, according to Police and three students were hospitalized following the incident.
