Victory celebrations on June 18

The victory celebrations which were scheduled to be held on the May 20 and postponed due to bad weather conditions will now be held on June 18 at the Galle Face Green, says the Media Centre for National Security (MCNS).

 

 

The War Heroes’ Commemoration too will be held on the same evening (June 18) at the war memorial near Parliament grounds.

 

 

Security personnel representing all regimes of the Armed Forces will take part in the colourful parades.
