Dettol thanks Sri Lankan for 50 years of trust and confidence

Dettol, the leading brand of Reckitt Benckiser and a global leader in the health and hygiene category celebrates 50 years of trusted protection in Sri Lanka.

 

 

Dettol has won the confidence of all Sri Lankan households throughout its presence in the country and has been continuously endeavoring to elevate the health and hygiene practices of Sri Lankans. Over the past years Dettol has been contributing to the advancement of the country’s health and hygiene.

 

 

“This year is special for Dettol, as it celebrates 50 years in Sri Lanka, and keeping with the past trend this year also we have started an initiative to educate the public and improve the development of health institutions through our ‘Dettol Protects’ campaign. Under the ‘Dettol Protects’ initiative, Dettol is launching a series of school and public awareness programmes across the country. The brand will continue its efforts to educate new mothers on germ protection.

 

 

Shameena Pallie, Senior Brand Manager of Dettol says, “This year we intend to increase the new mothers’ contacts programme across hospitals, as well as continue with the refurbishment of Sri Lanka’s hospitals. We have currently commenced the work in Jaffna Teaching Hospital, Lady Ridgeway Hospital and the Cancer Hhospital of Sri Lanka, with more on the plan for refurbishment”.
