Fonseka seeks permission to attend mother-in-law’s funeral

Detained General (retired) Sarath Fonseka has sought permission to attend his mother-in-law’s funeral this afternoon, sources close to him said.

 

 

The remains of Mrs. E. Munasinghe, mother of Ms. Anoma Fonseka, are lying at a funeral parlour in Borella for the public to pay their respects from 2.00 pm today. The cremation is to take place at 6.00 pm this evening at the General Cemetery Borella.
