21 Lankans brought to Mandapam

RAMANATHAPURAM: Twenty one Sri Lankan fishermen, apprehended by the Coast Guard on Tuesday, were brought to Mandapam on Thursday.

 

 

The four boats seized by the Coast Guard personnel were also brought to shore. All were detained at 40 nautical miles off Karaikal. They were from Trincomalee, Puttalam and other areas. The fishermen were handed over to the police for further action. – (The Hindu)
