India win Asia Cup crushing Sri Lanka by 81 runs

Dambulla, Sri Lanka: India won the cricket Asia Cup, crushing defending champions Sri Lanka by 81 runs at Rangiri Dambulla Stadium.


Batting first on Thursday, India made 268-6 in 50 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka were bundled out for 187 in the 45th over.


India 268-6 in 50 overs (Dinesh Karthik 66, Rohit Sharma 41, Thilina Kandamby 2-37).
Sri Lanka 187 all out in 44.4 overs (Chamara Kapugedera 55 not out, Ashish Nehra 4-40)
