UN unbiased only on the exterior – Palestine Ambassador

The United Nation’s shouldn’t get involved with Sri Lanka’s internal affairs, Palestine ambassador to Sri Lanka Dr. Anwar H. Alegha has said in his meeting with Prime Minister D.M Jayaratne in parliament premises yesterday.

The ambassador further expressed that the UN is a balanced organization only in appearance but actually they succumb to the will of the world’s powerful nations. He said that the blind eye the UN has turned towards the cruel acts which the Israel army has unleashed on Palestineis a perfect example to the organizations biased ness.

Furthermore Palestine’s stance will be to support Sri Lanka against all the pressure put on by the international community concerning the country’s internal affairs said Alegha.
