Police to go green

The Sri Lanka Police is to set up units under each division to protect the environment. These units will function directly under the Divisional heads of the police, said spokesman Senior Superintendent of police Prashantha Jayakody.
This is the first time that such a unit is being formed and they will be responsible in combating acts that may result in environmental pollution.
