Virtusa Toastmasters Club drives Communication and Leadership

The Charter Ceremony and Installation of the Virtusa Toastmasters Club was recently conducted amidst a distinguished gathering comprising of the Chief Guest, Ms. Rachel Smith from American Center of the US Embassy in Colombo, Guest of Honor and Keynote Speaker Lt. Governor Education and Training, District 82 DTM M.Z. Saleem and many eminent Toastmasters from Sri Lanka.
As a prelude to forming the Club, several speech craft training sessions were held with the help of the Smedly Toastmasters Club also being the sponsor club. These trainings along with the Club activities will be a catalyst in helping Virtusans and the members develop their communication and leadership skills. Seen in the photo are the 25 Charter Members who were inducted at the ceremonial occasion in to the Virtusa Toastmasters Club, now part of the global Toastmasters Circle.
