No proposal to change the leadership of UNP - Tissa

Speaking at a press conference today, Tissa Attanayake, UNP General Secretary said that there were no proposals regarding changing the party leadership in those that were accepted yesterday by the Working Committee.

 

 

He added that if there is no common consensus of the Working Committee regarding any change of positions in the party, a secret vote will be held.

 

 

The General Secretary also said that any person leaking confidential information discussed at working Committee meetings will be punished by the law.
