Death sentence for soldier

An army soldier accused of murder has been given the death sentence by the North Central Provincial High Court. The Provincial High Court Judge Menaka Wijesundara gave this verdict.
The soldier who is a resident of Matale Kiwulagoda area, was accused of hacking a person to death in May 2000 in Galenbindunuwewa Namalpura area.
